I’m Jordyn, the girl behind the blog. Originally, I started this blog as a means to share my thoughts and ideas as well as document my life. What started out as a virtual diary, Positive Obsessions has turned into a place where I could share my knowledge and help readers with mindfulness, personal growth and development, and mental health.
As a current master’s student in social work with a bachelors in psychology, mental health is something I am passionate about. It’s my goal to provide you with helpful information and assist in your journey of self-improvement!
A deeper look into some of the topics this blog clovers:
- Coping with Anxiety and Depression
- Managing Stress
- Mental Wellness and Psychology
- Social, Emotional, and Physical Wellness
- Organization and Productivity
A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I’m an average 25-year-old girl living in Iowa. I’m currently obtaining my master’s in social work at the University of Iowa in hopes of becoming an end-of-life social worker and bereavement counselor.
I love animals (especially dogs and owls), country music, crime shows and solving mysteries, cheesy jokes, and being creative. My family and friends are my whole world. I don’t know what I would do without them.
FUN FACTS: I’m obsessed with fruit, afraid of grasshoppers, love western fashion (I’m getting more confident with expressing this style) and my favorite spectator sports are wrestling and Rugby. Go New Zealand All Blacks!
Thank you so much for visiting Positive Obsessions. Please, feel free to check out my posts, comment, and ask questions. I’d love to hear from you and any suggestions on what you’d like to see!
